Maybe it doesn't change much once hunt starts, but still, I think it's worth mentioning. It also depends if ghost is active when they are multiple people around it, or when there is one person. If that player is outside the house, then it switches to someone else who's inside.

Or it straight up doesn't know you are there.Īlso, a fact, certain ghost type or types, I think Banshee does that, only targets one player at a time, even if you are in a closet with a little bit of a background noise, it will go straight for the other guy it has chosen as it's meal. However when it comes to multiplayer, once again, just a theory of mine, that perhaps other players are louder or something and that's why it passes by you. Ghost hears you every time, the whole time when you are in-game. I can't guarantee, but from my own experience playing the game and from what I have been told, saw discussions on Discord, that is basically this is how it works. If I would have such issue, I would probably mute it in the settings before starting the game, and unmute whenever I quit. Regarding unplugging your mic, I'm not suggesting that, my mic and headset is also connected together so I understand you. And this doesn't mean an expensive gaming headset (though I recommend this investment), a proper videoconferencing headset which costs 10-20 dollars is sufficient. Get a proper headset and you problems are gone. They are not suitable to play games like Phasmo. Those mics catch up every fan and surrounding sounds easily (they have to, as you mouth while speaking is not close to the mic). If you are using an integrated laptop mic, then you can't be helped. Only unmute the mic if you actively want to ask the ghost questions with the spirit box or to trigger a spook / interaction. Mostly found near the volume control on the headset too. No, the mute function I am speaking of is a hardware button on your headset with which you mute the mic per key press. Mute function? Would I be able to toggle it easily in-game?įurthermore, where would I find this usually? Thanks!
